They were all over the front all night. Something happened right when Digweed went on. (about 6 of them came to the stage). People came up and danced (so security shooed them off), and some of them were cleaning the trash left on the stage.

so great seeing both of you!!! i saw so many people wednesday night that i haven't seen in forever!!!! such a fun night and great music overall. i love the mayan except for the sound, double fail on that all night.
if you could have avalon's sound system in that gorgeous building you would have the ultimate super club!!! oh well, one can dream. but i love avalon too :)
once a lot of the industry people left around 2:30 the crowd left was super cracky....handle your drugs people, handle your drugs :)

You're right, the sound was off. I think it was like that because they brought in their own sound this time. It didn't used to be like that. There were several times when the speakers would crack and it sounded like they were about to pop. Not good.
I also think that the mayan is showing it's age and a remodel is due. If I was rich, I would buy it in a heart beat and remodel/upgrade that sucker! hahahaha
