That seems to be the gist of the new Atlantic headline article, anyway:

Im actually looking for a girl that makes alot more money then me...
not because im lazy but as an example of how far women have come in this world. I want to be the poster boy for all independent women. equal rights. Lets supress men!!!!!!!!

Just anecdotally, I know some couples now in which the guys have the attitude that their leisure time is extremely important, so they are willing to take lower pay if it means decent hours, while the girls are extremely ambitious and ready to go make the big bucks at almost any cost. |

I was at a women's conference recently, and most of the world still favors boys over girls to the extent that there are more men in the world population than women as a result.
I am certain that there are still significantly more men in management than women. i know the rate is growing but we are still a minority, particularly in upper management and CEO roles.

Not in China. Watch as millions of Chinese boys (becoming men) now are reaching the age where they need or want to marry and there is physically a lack of any women because of the breeding practices they have taken over the last 20-25 years.
A male youth population bulge is one of the prime factors in violent confrontations in and between nations. |
