Liebing delivered some relentless techno. I wasnt the biggest fan of his set, mainly due to no progression at all on his part, and the fact that I had such high expectations maybe. But he def still played some crazy tracks and the crowd was great which made the night very enjoyable.

From that long review it sounds a lot like he did the same thing he did at Aria years ago. Really loopy and hard the whole way through. Its just 2 bad for me that the sound of hard hitting techno is only accepted in afterhours :(

M0h's face when he heard his track was definitely a highlight of the night...

big thanks to every TA that showed up, hope you enjoyed your night.:)

and a HUGE thanks to Creator for all the work behind this fantastic night and all previous and future events :)

Better than last time, not as good as the next, this is how i can describe creator's events since ever.

Black Out !!!

Thanks Francis that's really nice of you.

Got to give some major credits to your promoting work,

as well as to Circus. I mean we booked Tommy and Brian for the first time in America, Erphun for the first time in Canada, and Chris exclusively in Canada this time.

couldn't do it without their trust and open mind.

WOW is all that I can say! Chris Liebing is truly in a class of his own. The way he mixes and aspecialy how he uses his FX!! Loved the rythm of his set, hard pouding base. What's m0h's track that he played, it was personaly track of the night for me :)

There's nothing I can say in a review of my own that was not already said. I did notice however that there were patches of empty spots on the dance floor, which made for a lot of personal room. Honestly, Chris Liebing @ Circus gets my vote for best show of 2010. It wasn't butt packed with kids like @ SVD 2 weeks ago, Circus was pumping out huge fans that kept the room cool and enjoyable, the sound system was good, and the master raped the 1s and 2s good. As for his track selection, I wouldn't go as far as to say the majority were unreleased. If you check out Chris' monthly Beatport charts (and charts from label mates) since the beginning of 2010, you'll hear most of the tracks played on Friday. Between my friend and myself we ID'ed around....70%-80% of the set.

Oh, and I've been meaning to ask, was this EPIC NIGHT recorded? If it was, when will it be released? If it wasn't, shame on the whole lot of you. kthxbye

I never look at Beatport charts so yes you are right maybe it wasn't so much unreleased stuff. I just didn't know all of them.

No the set wasn't recorded. Even if it was I wouldn't release it.

The question is burning a hole so I have to ask: why wouldn't you release it?

We already released 5 hours of Black Out recording 2 months ago.

I am not a big fan of releasing live recordings. People just browse quickly on a monday morning and say 'meh it's not that great'.

There's nothing like the experience of being there, and I encourage people to do so. I even see this as a way to thank people for actually coming and paying. The memories are always better and your head than on recording.

I do it when guests ask me to, or with mine when I feel that I have to remember people how good the night is ;-)

I'm with you on this. I've passed on the chance to get copies of recordings from incredible nights because I want to remember it the way it was. To hear it in my car would only cheapen the memory.

Can't agree with you on that one :S, sometimes the set was soo great and there were soo many good drops that you'd do anything to hear it again. I was very happy when they recorded the set of Thommy four seven so I had a chance to re-hear it.
