And it will keep going up as long as the place is packed to the hilt. Get used to it.

6 years ago the Guv was PACKED AS for PVD, too. It was hard to breathe, let alone to move around.

In the last 3-4 years the prices for big name gigs have been going up quite rapidly, I suppose that means that the music is becoming more mainstream and better known. Back few years ago there was more competition between touring DJ's (not well known) and prices were much lower. Nowadays people will flock to the Guv to see whoever the is playing that night, because its a cool thing to do.

blame the djs for charging increasingly outrageous fees.

Tiesto started that trend

Consider it the cost of getting free illegal downloads i guess!

That's what I'm saying. As long as they charge, and ppl willing to pay, then prices will continue to climb. You think they give a if a few ppl here and there don't go anymore? Somehow I don't think so. There's way too many ppl that will.

how much was guvernment a couple of years ago for can day ?
Im sur 95% of the people who will go really dont care about the djs, and guverment is right to rise their prices if they still think its going to be full, sadly for us.
