Two more things about the cruise I wanted to chime-in about:

1. Playing 'Lovely Flight' by Didier Sinclair was another highlight of the cruise for me.

2. And Demi pulled off some sick live remix of Lusine's 'Two Dots' ... WOW

one of the best boats i've been on, such a great atmosphere. we left the dock at around 12:45 which was amazing. Music was also loud pretty much throughout the whole cruise. Ended up at the docks after which was pretty good and then tryst which was packed, great day overall :D

The afterparty however was a complete miss for me:( I only had about 3 drinks and decided to get something to eat on the side of solarium.. chilled and just layed back by the water. An hour or so after that I decide to make my way to the afterparty with me new friend and she gets in but security decided I was too intoxicated. Honestly I watched how demi go in after he had to speak with Security for awhile and he was definitely drinking more than I. They let him in and afterwards I overheard security talking about how annoying he was and his attitude. So I say to them ' I know what it is, I am not a dj.." I laugh and they just simply say they have the right to make the call.

the same happened to my friends and I

there was about 8 of us, and selectively 3 of us were "too drunk" to get in...

the bouncers were horse

We made our way to Tryst and had a great time there!

boat cruise = awesome
tryst = awesome

ok good so im not the only one who didn't get let into docks either.....what the is up with this?!?! they were so dead last night, how can you seriously deny paying patrons who are clearly not THAT intoxicated to be let in.....-100000000000000 points on them

actually im kinda glad that i didnt make it in because that $20 got me some killer hot dogs, ice cold pint and entry into tryst which was 1000x better :)

sorry this isnt part of review of the boat cruise just had to put in my 0.02c on the docks organization!! bunch of mother ing pricks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no need to apologize stefan.. glad you and luke agree that the bouncers were not sensible at all. To further my conversation with the security manager who was leaning back on the fence smiling away... i tell him..'lets be reasonable, you need to give me a valid reason why you think I am too intoxicated' he then explains he doesn't need to and that his decision stands. I then say 'Am I slurring my words?' I even demonstrate that I am walking straight.. honestly i was quite astonished as this has never happend to me..

After all this discussion I see him trip while back up on the fence and he loses his stepping then holds onto the fence or barracde... I tell him you are probably high yourself and you are demonstrating to me that you are intoxicated.. I LoL and sat on the grass and waited a bit for my friend. Went to Keating Channel Pub after was very chill.

For the most part they were red flagging people who were high. If they noticed you were to drunk, then I guess you were red flagged as well. Next time compose yourselves a little better and you wont have an issue.

we decided to go to this party after the victor cruise. i was hoping that it'd have the same vibe as the c&c party last year but unfortunately it didn't.

watching security deny 3 people entry on our way in (one of which being our friend stephan) was brutal. sure you could tell they've had a few drinks but they weren't falling on the floor drunk. the people inside doing the ticket sales were really nice. they even let us leave to get food on the back patio and come back in. even on the back patio people were being kicked out because they looked drunk.

we stayed to listen to jeff a bit and have a drink but decided to leave after that. headed over to the bounce party and had an amazing night.

i don't think i'll go back to the dock's unless there is confirmation ahead of time that security is going to be better. nobody wants to go to a party and have to be looking over their shoulder the entire time. it's too bad because i LOVE that venue.

yeah that was absolutely retarded - they knew we are all coming from various cruises

ummm.. really? were u there??? I think there is enough people here that agree security was pathetic !

I wish I had gone on this cruise. I heard great things from everyone who went.

The security was a bit ridiculous at the door. I saw a large group of people get denied who didn't seem intoxicated at the door. Also, one of the guards was pretty rude to because I didn't come up to get searched fast enough.

"You are intoxicated and can't come in" is a pretty stupid reason to deny entry when your party is a boat cruise after party. Of course people are intoxicated, that's why they're there. What do you think they were doing on the boat, having lunch and drinking tea?

I can understand if people were falling over, but the people who I saw get denied didn't deserve to get denied at all.
