If you haven't read this interviews yet, go read them. He talks a lot about his philosophy and way of making tunes.

Breakage > Burial, imo. I just dig his stuff more.
I'll agree on this.
Burial is really good as an artist, but it seems he's become a bit one-dimensional. Both of his albums were rather samey (despite what he stated in that interview) even though they were mint. His one-off tracks all sound rather similar too.
Breakage has a very diverse discography ranging from drum & bass, dubstep, downtempo, and other such kerfluffin', each of these he more often than not nails pretty well. From an artistic standpoint I'd say he's better than Burial.

While I'm glad I introduced you to Burial and I like his music a lot, his music has received a huge amount of attention and praise in the past few years.

I don't see the point of comparisons like this. It's not like these are the only two guys to make dubstep in the world.

why not? They're 2 of the most high-profile names for it, along with Skream and Rusko and others, and both have had highly successful commercial releases. I just find Breakages' more to my personal taste, which was all I was stating in the thread in general.
