Cannot believe all the BS I just read that went down with that bouncer. Not letting guys in because they're wearing jeans & t-shirts makes no sense when you consider about 90% of guys there last night were dressed that way. And not letting people take vids, R U kidding me, I didn't know the president was there. Worst of all IMO, only giving Marco 2 hours takes the in cake and is inexcusable. Just when he was catching a serious groove they take him off the decks, how sad, especially when you consider what happened in Atlanta. I thought he had started earlier and had no clue he only played 2 hours
Oh well, we got there a little after 1:30 with a great buzz & kept it going till we left shortly after MV finished. Eventhough MV was playing slow when we got there & was a bit off early IMO, we really were gettin into his set from 2 am onward. I thought it got progressively better & I loved the last 75 minutes of his set. Upbeat high energy techhouse & some techtrance bombs, with massive techy breakdowns & nice progression. Absolutely no reason to cut him off at that point because that 3rd hour would've been even better ...

Pat bro I don't know why you keep getting on me for everything. I just relay the information that is given to me. If you want to be absolutely correct Marco got on at 1:12 and played until 3:48. I sold a good amount of tickets and figured the rest of the promotion team would be the same. Like I said I just relay the information to you guys as I get. Also for it not being busy, I really believed the opener was playing to hard for that time, that's just my opinion. He usually does a great job and was probably playing a little harder since it was Marco V. I watched people walk out left and right and say that it was way to intense. You have to understand that room is so fickle on Friday nights especially when opening it up. Other than that I just let you guys know what I hear from the club. Sorry for the misinformation
As for Marco getting kicked off the decks, thats bs. I was standing right next to him when that time came and he turned to Apollo and said 1 more and then its all yours. So I don't know how that is getting taken off the decks.
As for the security guard I agree with what everyone said 100%. I'm ing pissed to bc this douche bag was treating me without respect either, ing prick. He has consistently gotten worse over the past few weeks. I'm gonna bring that up with management and see what they say about his actions.

dont quote me on this because i really dont know the business aspect of (im just a club kid) but to me it would make sense that djs get paid for how long they play. a 2 hour set and they get paid x amount and a 3 hour set they get paid y amount for example. isnt that part of the negotiations that take place before the shows ever even gets announced to the public? so if marco was paid for 2 hours then he did his duty. if he was paid for 3 or even 4 well then he ripped the club off which i doubt he did. obviously if marco is killing it and wants to continue afterwards, unless another big name is behind him, he can choose to do that because at that point he would be playing for free. now my whole point is this is known before the event takes place and therefore the club and its promoters should provide accurate information to their customers regarding what is going to happen. saying marcos going to play a 3, possibly even 4 hour set, when he probably only contracted to do 2 is the misinformation i was referring to. and if you're just relaying the information well then you should let the club know that they need to give you the correct information because its making you look bad and because you are extension of the club that in turn makes them look bad.
please do mention the security guard to the club because that is just simply out of hand.
