I'd say the rubber glove on the second hand makes it more of a homage to slasher films, but even if you ignore the racial implications of a black hand snatching a white woman, I think it's ridiculous to posit Magda as a slasher victim girl, or even as a monster movie damsel in distress. There's no way they'd do such a shoot with a male DJ. |

That doesn't look like a glove to me, more like an intentional lame looking costume monsters wore in the old days.
And who gives a damn about the colour of its skin, we all know monsters are not racists. |
