i'm wondering...do any of you know good sites to host files around 1gb? Soundcloud is supposed to go by minutes but uploads do not seem to be able to go past 490mb.
open to suggestions, rim jobs, william shatner getting punched in a face by a transvestite and photochops of my penis.

really though...as funny as it seems i have never used torrents in my life so i have no clue about it. I buy ...and when i mean i buy ...corn is 2 times the price, peanuts not so much.

It includes a tool that lets you make torrents, it's a very simple process. Torrent files are extremely small, and are easy to upload to any torrent site of your choosing, where other people can download it, too. So long as you are seeding the base file the torrent is linked to, other people should be able to download it via the torrent client (the very same one that I linked to, or any other torrent client, really) - but once others have completed their download, they, too, can seed the file so that others can download the file from them, and so on and so forth. It's an extremely viral process - when you are offline or have the torrent program closed, others obviously cannot download from you, but so long as somebody out there is seeding it, people can download it. |

Jay, try Dropbox. It gives you 2 gb for free to host your files, and can even sync your folders with different computers in you case you need a back up.
You can easily upload them to a public folder just copying them into a specific folder in your own computer, and let the program do the rest. Give it a try, I love it.
