Woot woot! My friends from Europe will be visiting 9/25, so waiting with anticipation on that date...would love to bring em to Circus on a big bangin night...it's the weekend before LovEvolution, so maybe the odds are good for a multi-stop tour! :eyespop: |

Nocturnal is on 9/25 and usually Circus has only local talent on the big rave nights. |

| Norin & Rad on 7/31 is well deserved for them. consistant consistant good a$$ sets.. those that haven't seen them..I highly recommend. |

I have to give huge props to LMD and Circus. I've only been in LA for a few months now, but it's been heaven for me so far with regard to trance music. You guys have NO IDEA how lucky you are to have a promoter/club that has trance & progressive on a weekly basis. Back home (ATL), trance was treated like a stepchild. Every EDM event stuck the trance guy in the 9pm slot (if there even was a trance DJ), and gave the glory to electro, dubstep, dnb, and house. Hell, Marco V is going to be in Atlanta soon, and they have him booked in the SIDE ROOM at the club. Not even the main floor! Armin, Ferry, etc. always get booked on "college night", so the club is 18+ and full of kids who have no idea who the DJs are. Trance used to be more prevalent there, but it's dried up in recent years.
However, based on my experiences so far in LA, trance is alive and well! :-)
So big thanks to LMD and Cirus, and I can't wait for the rest of the summer lineup!
P.S. I wish straight clubs were more like Circus. All of the "hold the line, bottle service, half the club is VIP" nonsense gets old. Not all of us straight guys are douches, some of us just want to party. :( |
