I find it weird that Mel Gibson has completely lost his Australian accent... How can u turn that on/off like that? |
well especially when he is so angry like that yelling. you would think that he would just use his own voice. |

no , but that's in a movie/show, whatever... in this case he's "turning on" his American accent even when he's talking on the phone to his gf? , that's a lot of effort... |

I think some people who speak to the media actual take speech conditioning classes. Rubens Barrichello an F1 driver has completely lost his Brazilian accent over the last 10 years. It is weird, he now speaks with this generic euro accent, and you cannot figure out the origin; simply because there isn't one! |

Really? I find his American accent sounds really forced, especially with "er" suffixes. The kid who played Kick Ass - best American accent I've ever heard, imo. |

i dont excuse anything he said...but she was obviously out to work him up and push his buttons if she was recording it. And then how did the media get it? she doesnt know.... yeah right..
Seriously, why does the public even care? Why does this crap show up as the third story on the nightly news after the oil spill and the serial rapist? | \
...agree. I just skimmed the dialog posted here - not going to bother to listen to the tapes - it's none of my goddamn business.
What he said was ty - I've had ty stuff said to me and I've said ty stuff when fighting during breakups (nothing to thaaat level but still... he's human).
The media attention stuff like this gets continues-on with the sad commentary on our society; why can't we appreciate our own lives enough to stop living vicariously through celebrities or measuring our moral character against theirs?
blah - I've got my own life to live and stresses to figure out and boy to make-out with :p - I dun care about Mel Gibson. |
