Don' t believe everything you hear and read, there are two sides to every story.
Now while I don't condone Mel's language and crazy rants, I do believe he didnt hit her and might have just been provoaked into getting pissed.
His wife of 28 years has provided a letter to the court claiming he was never physically abusing and now reports are out this morning that she made the tape, tried to exort 10 million from him to not release the tapes and apparently her teeth were not knocked out and the video evidence suggests self inflicted wound?

I didn't know what to think untill I heard about this yesterday. Mel's problem here is that he has a drinking problem. What a rough situation. |

i think you are coming to this from a very biased idea that all russian chicks are bitches. i agree, her behaviour is not proper for a normal person but if you listen to the tapes she is very deparate. and when people are desparate, they do anything to survive. he isolated her from her career and her friends. she has no other way of making money other than doing this. she has no other way of guranteeing that she and her baby will be taken care of. |

Yeah, it seems like she is definitely used to squeezing her ex's for cash and has a history of doing so BUT.....from the transcipt I just read on the first page there it does seem like Mel admits that he hit her. In which case he should get screwed casue that's not right no matter what the she did to him.
But again, she could have been trying to just say that and he didn't actually mean to admit it becasue he never did. Hard to tell with those heated booze fueled type agruements... |
