- she was not even supposed to take our table, someone else was supposed to work with us
- she came over and told us we have some credit left because of the Absolute mistake so she said she would bring us water and Red Bull to make the difference. After she brought it, she said we were short by $40 for the total because of the waters and Red Bull, wtf? She got nasty about it and took our entire bucket of water and Red Bull away, including the ones we did pay for
- when she gave me the bill, she charged champagne and charged for the gratuity of the comped champagne(which I expected for the second), so we were charged for two bottles of champagne we didn't get and the gratuity of four bottles
- she did not deduct the 10% off the total bill and claimed we were not getting 10% off, went to management for this
- our bill still ended up being $40 over our total, two friends handed over $20 each to make her go away, she counted after me and a friend counted(both of us in finance), told us we were still twenty short, she pocketed it, another friend handed her the $20 to make her go away
- she returned after to scream, saying we were having a miserable night because we were not allowing ourselves to have fun
I went to use the bathroom after all of this and the waitress manager pulled me to the side, other waitresses told them what happened and asked me to come with her to speak to the manager of VIP services. He was very apologetic but that is not going to cut it. I had plans for VIP for Cevin Fisher next week and that is not going to happen I told him. There is no way I will allow my friends to spend money there. The reason we all use the mez is because the main floor is so unbearable.
I can't wait for District 36 to open. They will show Pacha up and it is obvious they have been falling apart for a while now. Clubs that don't respect their clients always lose in the end, remember Lotus. |
you do realize how clubs can be, i mean not for nothing and this goes out to every one that does vip at any club not just pacha, you should always make sure that you get billed for what u bought and also if it was all done via net or something where you can show documentation of the arrangement bring that with you as proof so that you can show the manager. just my .02 |

this is why when I reserve tables at Pacha I do it through a friend that does bottle service. or I call ahead and ask them what specials they have. I don't think I have ever once paid more than 200 for any bottle at pacha.
i have never been ripped off, scammed or anything like that. just my 2 cents

+1... We should know by now that time and time again, even the people with the best intentions and greatest love for the music are very capable of (if not, more prone to) failing. Images of the Minitek Festival weekend, Club Rebel, Club Love in its early days, and many more examples come to mind. It's New York, I think the opening of new clubs is greeted with more skepticism than excitement, nowadays..
Let's hold our horses before we start naming the champions of New York City clubland just yet. I, just like everyone else, am praying that District 36 is awesome..

As I said in my post, it is the waitress that is the problem. The management fixed what she screwed up. I showed up knowing what the contract said and went over it with them at the podium. I have not had bottle service issues with them before but friends have. I only do bottle service there because that is the only way I can tolerate being in there. Goose bottles have always been at least 250, then raised to 300 in the winter, now they are 350. On the menu they are 400. I don't know which bottles you are getting but they changed it again. You also might have gone on nights with bottle promotions because the whole club had light bookings(including the upper area). |

| This was my best night out of the year so far. JOC was amazing. I loved every track he spun except for the second and third track which killed the mood for like 10 min. I got free admission before midnight and gave Pacha $7 of my money for a bottle of water. When will you guys learn that VIP is a waste of money. There is never a VIP story with a happy ending. |

:-) one time I was so ed up that I didn't fill my water bottle up once in the fountain or bathroom. i spent 150 on water. ugh. thank GOD i dont get ed up anymore
but honestly. it was always worth VIP. Im lazy and like a nice place to sit and polly wit the homies. even if I wasnt drinking, I would just make everyone else pay extra and only pay my price of admission :)

Yeah - Pacha is only tolerable if you have V.I.P but I don't even drink so I only go to Pacha when a friend is spinning.
If not - I will (gladly) pass. I have never had a "true" horror story like some of the ppl on here but I really don't even want to have one. |

me and my cousins had vip that night, and we were treated very nicely by our waitress, we didn't experience any issues and we all went home happy.
I don't know who the girl was that came and stripped at our table, but thank you, definielty was a bonus, hahahahaha. |
