At your request, dear. The cats showing they don't need no stinking litter boxes! They still have their digging instinct working, even though there's no litter to dig in. :p
Renzo
But they get water all over your toilet seat.
The litter works just fine, in my opinion. It's really not an inconvenience.

That's awesome, albeit a little gross because it means your cats walk around your house with their paws soaked in toilet water. :p

he forgot to flush, but I think this could be the new fetish porn we've been waiting for.

I didn't think of it as an inconvenience until we trained these two... no I can never go back. With litter, you get the little granules all over the place no matter how neat you keep the litter area. They get caught in their feet and transported to other rooms. Plus we don't have to buy litter or deal with the litter smell... and there's always a smell even when the box says "unscented". The worst thing we have to deal with is wiping water off the seat only when the male digs before ting. We don't even use that toilet; just the cats do.

It's not that bad... that's the same potable water that comes out of the faucet. He doesn't dig after using. And the female never touches the water.
Although, flushing would be nice but that's too much to ask. :p

How did you train them to do that?

My wife did it... I actually tried to stop her because I thought it would never work. lol.
This took about 2 months. She started by putting the litter box next to the toilet (one of those heavy cardboard disposable types). Then each day, slipping a couple magazines under it until it was the same height as the toilet. Then, you put it in the toilet; those disposable ones fit perfectly in the bowl without falling in. Use minimal litter in the box. After a week, cut a little hole in the center of the box. Each week, make the hole just a little bigger. Eventually, just the edges will remain. As the bottom of the litter box disappears, the cat starts positioning itself like you saw in the video on the edge of the toilet seat. When the cat is fully doing it like that for a week or so, just lift up the seat and toss the leftover frame of the disposable litter box. ;)

I also love the way they look up at the camera like "Do you MIND? I'm trying to take a dump, ."
Oh and I love that they have their own bathroom, lol.
