I have great relations with a number of them... because they pay me. If she's a university alumnist or member of a professional organization she should try TDI; they have affinity programs with a lot of groups that will get her a pretty substantial discount; also, if she ever needs property insurance they'll give her an even larger discount and their policies are about the best homeowner's policies I've ever seen (unless you own a million + property... then you can get Chubb's "we don't care what happened, how much do you want?" policy). |
Thanks for this, Craig. I plan on buying a car next year, and just priced out quotes through Kanetix, Bel Air Direct and, at your suggestion, TDI. TDI gave me the lowest rate, at over 100 dollars LESS/month than the quotes the other two gave me. Plus I already bank with TD, so that's a bonus.

TD Insurance has the best rates ive seen to date. However they are absolute ****s to deal with. Wouldn't insurance a basic Saturn 2001 because it had rims....which they considered as major modification to driving train.... |

I'm sure there is a lot more to the story......most likely they didn't want to insure the person. Insurance companies will insure any vehicle...it's the person the insurance company doesn't want. The person is probably a high risk individual. |

The easiest insurance to get is Desjardins, quick and easy - 20 minutes over the phone or less. I signed up with them, for a year. Good rates for a noob driver like me.

Chem, they were going to insure me.....until i made the mistake about asking about my rims and stuff.
My driving record is clean. TD lost a customer that day, pulled my house insurance from them as well.
I might give them a 2nd chance when renewal time comes around again since I don't put my rims on anymore cuz 1 low profile tire is busted and i dont feel like spending the money + its harder on the driving (absorbs less) |

Plus with TDI you may end up with one of my employees handling your claim (if you are unfortunate enough to have one), which means great claims service.... especially for you Sugar Titts. |
