New drink test kit to be available in bars/clubs this summer?

Apparently these kits will be available this summer to test your drink for GHB, K, and Rofi's. I think it's a great idea, but for $6 a single use kit I'm not sure how many people will bother. Although knowing these are available may be a good enough deterrent for losers who want to spike a girls drink.

however, $6 would be a small price to pay to be able to label a certain individal as one of those people who prey on women (and men) by drugging their beverage. |

Yeah I agree it's a steep price, but well worth it in the right circumstance.
Maybe bars/clubs should just have a couple on hand for these types situations. If a girl becomes really intoxicated and a guys tries to take her out of the club, they could test her drink or something? Or once a girl feels a funny feeling coming that's not booze she can ask for a test?
Even just advertising that these are available at a bar/club would hopefully be enough to scare the creeps away... |

in my whole "clubbing career" i have never seen a guy spike a girls drink, honestly. Let's not create an image of us men trying to take girls out of the club by spiking drinks. these types of cases are so rare that it's pointless to do, great idea would be for clubs to have their own devices if needed.
You would be surprised how many women get smashed to to the point where they can't even get up from the floor and then blame that on some guy when she initiates something herself.. that i see a few times a month :D |

ive seen it a few times. it hit close to home when i was at Labour Of Love many years ago with one of my very close girl friends (shes like my younger sister) and she started G'ing out within 30 minutes of us arriving at the club. her older sister had to take her home. needless to say that ruined my night cuz we were supposed to party together. |

Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen :P It's not like the drugger is doing it blatently, and it's not like you're keeping an eye out constantly for it. Just ask Jason how he does it :P |
