Actually, just for the sake of it, I'll from here on say that you're PKC's Christian alter ego, and that you don't live in Canada, but in Tasmania. Much like Arbiter is a hot Cuban girl, you're now PKC's split identity.
Yeah, that's right! I know your claims about your identity are all bogus, Paul, I know it! |

Someone once told me mental illness is no laughing matter, to that I replied but you've never read a Wahsley post have you?
Question: if Washley isn't on some sort of state welfare, where does he derive his income? He says he has a business but won't give any meaningful reply about what it is. What say you COR sleuths?
On the charge of liable you need to prove intent. In addition you'll need to Backtrace this post and file a formal complaint with the Cyber police. See you in Cyber court friend.

| Actually, studying is so much fun, I think after getting my Engineering PhD I might just start to study medicine. No kidding, after all, House MD is such an awesome show. |

If only it weren't so formulaic and paid a little more attention to the science, this would be true. Better than CSI:Franchise? Well, almost anything, but now House along with Criminal Minds and Lie to Me have found their happy place drama formula which plods a loosely constructed narrative, ample dilettante jargon, superficial intellectual integrity coupled with a multitude of clinical boundary violations so egregious, performed in the name of drama, that if they happened in the real world, ALL of the characters would have been both fired and sued into the stone-age. |

Will previously stated that he was receiving a disability benefit from the state. In Ontario that means either a Canadian Pension Plan Disability benefit (CPPD) or Ontario Disability Support Plan (ODSB) or both. The CPPD is not technically a form of state welfare, as the CPP is a plan that employed persons pay premiums to enter (manditory mind you) and elligability is based on the premium paid; much like a private pension plan. The ODSP is a form of state welfare as it is available to anyone who qualifies without any requirement that they have paid into the plan. Now, one could argue that the ODSP is not "welfare" as "welfare" in it's ordinary and customary useage in Ontario refers to Ontario Works (the general social assistance program), which is unrelated to the ODSP as the two are governed by entirely different statutes. That said, if one takes the proper use of the word "welfare," meaning the state funded/controlled social welfare system then yes, ODSP is a part of the welfare system.
If I recall correctly Bill has talked about his "business" before and it's more an odd jobs kinda thing but not physical work.... if I recall correctly. Most of us would look at this sort of thing as finding casual or short term contract work rather then a business; however, if he's registered as a business then he technically runs a business (actually, he need not even be registered to call himself a business). |
