Introducing ItchyClips.com

Stewart Walker and I (Sneak-Thief) started a project called ItchyClips.com GbR where artists can buy & sell songs as Ableton Live files for 5 EURO each (and later on, Apple Loops, REX & WAVs). Artists will get ~60% of each sale.

Everybody is welcome to sell their tracks at ItchyClips - Create your account here

- Background:

We want to create a community of artists for artists - you know, like session musicians who offer their services to other producers and performers. This means released and unreleased songs of all styles, from dance tracks to Mexican hip-hop to psych-rock, etc.

We welcome all styles of music, acoustic or electronic!

- What's a Scratchpack?

It's a song in Session-mode with roughly 8 instruments and 4-8 scenes - free downloadable examples:

Stewart Walker: Trankeelo (Free Scratchpack download - Ableton Live 8 Format)

Sneak-Thief: Smitten (Free Scratchpack download - Ableton Live 8 Format)

- More info: How to submit your Scratchpack

All comments and feedback are welcome!

Cheers,

Didn't someone on here already start something similar to this ? Anyways, it is a pretty cool thing for people looking to learn how something is done. The problem will be compatibility if someone doesn't own the same plugins or synths.

Where do I sign, loads of busy artists will want to pay 5e for my sh1t for sure.

In fact, cut the middle man - guys come straight to me - all those tracks of mine you wanted are yours for 5 bucks a throw, seriously.:wtf:
Mad for Brad
would you pay 5 $ to have one of your fav artists tracks to dissect and decompose ? I think that is who this is geared for. I think you are the market they are selling to. Not buying from.

im not really interested to look into others chaos. i have done some co-works/collabs/remixing before where i got whole projects of others and its always freaking chaotic. people are messy, artists are messy people and the software today is messy so basically what you get is triple mess. no thanks. ill gladly pay 5 for good music but only in standardized lasteable formats (vinyl/cd/mp3 - hopefully all three).

i don't get you people. On one end you bitch about not making money. Then this person offers a potential service that could make you money at no expense to yourselves. oy vey.
