Produced by Kenny Glasgow and Johnny White with Kenny on the vocals.
I heard this for the first time at Get Lost in Miami during WMC and my jaw dropped. Perfect afterhours music.
This song was featured in the most recent RA Podcast with Jef K (producer of the hit In My System).
(this low sound quality Youtube video doesn't even come close to replicating the monsterous base of this track when you hear it on a good sound system. Anyone who has heard this live can attest to this)
These guys have really picked up their game recently and have been getting lots of support from Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Wolf+Lamb, etc. Not only did they play at Get Lost in Miami, they've played at The Standard Hotel rooftop in LA, a BLKMRKT party in New York last weekend, and apparently they have a couple of Circo Loco @ DC-10 dates in September!
(you can hear the tail end of it at the beginning of the video)
It makes me proud to see the boys from Toronto finally get the attention they deserve. Kenny Glasgow has always been my favourite resident in Toronto for a reason.
This an amusing video from the Hot Natured party at DEMF.
Sorry I can't embed it.
geroin

Kenny Glasgow was big in the early 1990s, too. Spinning and producing some nice classic cuts for the now-defunct legendary Canadian House sound. Along with Nick Holder and the likes.
not the biggest fan of this tune atm, but I'll reserve final judgment til' I hear it in a club.
it's pretty dope that these guys are getting some good international attention though, big ups to them for that! obviously more than a few ppl are liking what they're doing.
toronto on fire.

+1
Never been a real Kenny Glasgow fan but congrats to both of them. Toronto based producers and DJs are getting more and more recognition on the international stage

Reminds me of the old Playgroup track:
I'd probably really dig it in a club at the right moment, or in the right set. On it's own, I can't say I'm a big fan. Regardless, grats on getting some recognition - I've seen both of them spin a few times and it's been right up my alley ;)
