The past few years have been very busy for Randall Jones. He has traveled around the world and back again, with a string of headlining gigs from Dubai to Buenos Aires, Lima to Mexico City, Amsterdam to NYC, Montreal to London, and dozens of cities beyond. In the studio, these travels and experiences have been embodied in an album that Randall has been tweaking for the better part of two years.
Randall’s debut artist album, "The World: By Night" is a thorough insight into his signature sound of dub and reggae, futuristic vibes and house beats injected with tribal percussion, Detroit techno and Bladerunner soundscapes. The tracks feature guest performances by artists known the world over for their craft. "The World: By Night" kicks off deep, featuring his recent collaboration with techno luminary, Jay Haze. "Fresh Air" sets the stage for tracks featuring the vocal talents of the father of hip-hop, KRS-One, Jamaica's smooth crooner, Goldenchyl, as well as Tricia Lee Kelshall of Stereo MC's and Way Out West fame. Randall takes performances by these vocalists, as well as other world class musicians, and crafts them into a journey across dancefloors worldwide.
