Hi guys, been a long time...well anyway i hoped you could help me with this. I am kinda struggling with my productions since i cant really make sounds and stuff so i tweak presets(which basicly means that the great sounds in my head end up sounding like vomit), so i thought it give it a try with mashups, since i think i might have some decent ideas and there isnt(at least i think so) any huge producing involved. Now im using ableton, and i thought ok dude, just puttem into ableton andit ll work. Ofcourse both tracks and up sounding completely out of sinc., the beats are all messed up etc. I tried fixing that, but its like i have to fix everything every 2 seconds since it screws itself up almost immediatly. So here is the question(s):
Is there some easy way to fix it(or less hard)?
Can one get like vocals or you know 'sound sequences' from certain tracks without the full thing(do i have to be someone important/conections to get those?)
Where would that be???
well thats it, thanks alot for future answers and excuse my 'notknowingness'

Sounds like you are not setting the proper tempo of the clips.

Some tracks release the acapellas with the releases, but it is not common practice

Technically you can try to contact the label, but don't expect a lot of cooperation. |

You might want to read the manual a bit on Ableton Live, because that's a pretty basic function and it sound like you are not very familiar with it. You can't just drop two tracks into Live and expect them to sync up without warping them to the clip tempo. |

it will be easy for you because EDM tracks 99.9% of the time have a fixed tempo. it's not a session drummer here :)
warp the first kick, right click and set it to 1.1.1. go to the end of track, warp the last kick/crash/snare before the last etc till your clip tempo read's somewhat close to a fixed value, ie 126.01. that's how you'll know whether the last slide goes fwd or back.
ok that's how to do in 1 sentence lol there are a hundreds of youtube clips to show you, just search "ableton warping" |

| If i was one of the highest paid producers in dance , I would introduce tempo changes to up all the djs. They used to do this back in the day. Nothing drastic, just enough so that someone relying on auto beatmapping to trainwreck. |
