I had to mix without headphones at an afterparty a few weeks ago, and it's a pain. The sync button helps. :P
You're doing pretty damn good, though, for a drunk guy without phones. |

I just found out that Traktor can synch tracs. doesn't always work thoug |

back in the days when i didnt have any gear this was the only way to mix,
hot keys would help me tons and also setting the crossfader on auto for (60 secs) |

I use Virtual DJ, and if the sync button doesn't work, you can match up the wavelengths with your jog wheels (or CDJs/DVS) and get by.
I'd just sync up the songs, create a loop based on the wavelength, and then bring the song in ever so slightly with the slider to hear it a little, the move it back.
The crowd didn't seem to mind, of course they were rolling like crazy. |
