You don't need to necessarily view "show" in a kind of mixing type. "Show" also means that people expect you to look happy, smile and fistpump and jump around the stage and what not. This isn't exactly hard, but everyone has a bad day from time to time. But these guys are expected to always look happy and be energetic. No one wants to be at a gig where the DJ looks like he has a depression. |
I think you misunderstood me. Deadmau5's music will always result in a bad show. He's awful is what I was getting at. He should step away from dance music forever...those are the general bullet points of my statement. |

What you think doesn't really matter in this discussion. What the people, that go to his shows think, matters. |

I actually wondered the same thing. it's like the second he fainted, almost immediately the music completely stops, as well as the stage lights. and the lights of the club all turn on. I found that a little weird |
It's very possible he knew he was about to faint, and so stopped the music with his last conscious act. Club lights will have been put on by the technicians who saw what happened. |

He should pre-record an "Oh , I'm about to pass out!" set, and play it right before he hits the floor. Kinda like those extra long tracks for when you're spinning and have to take a leak. Then, they can just throw in a tall skinny stand-in with the helmet on, and the tards in the crowd would never know the difference. Why cancel nine tour dates? |

While this may be true for a lot of DJs and performers, I seriously doubt that his fanbase is the type that would pick up on a "bad show". I mean they're already there, how much worse could it get? |

I don't know about that...Digweed has a pretty successful career and I don't think I've ever seen him smile or his hands go above shoulder height. |
So true. |

I know that...maybe I didn't explain myself correctly.
You were saying that his exhaustion was due in part to the pressure that's on him to perform well for his fans, yes? What I'm saying is that the pressure on him can't be all that bad because his fans are complete wits that wouldn't know the difference between a "good" or "bad" show of his. |

what exactly is a "good" or "bad" show to you? |

| It's pretty self explanatory :conf: |

| I understand what you're saying Bas, but all that is from your frame of reference. To them, what you consider "bad" might be "good" to them, since they tend to not pay attention to insignificant things like the music, and mixing, and proper dental hygiene. |
