He's a uni lecturer, 'productivity' isn't in the job description, a bit like 'efficient public servant' or 'honest politician'... just doesn't exist.

Fuzzqi, I live in a Ikea-free region of the world. As a matter of fact, the wooden chair is the most "unique" model I found from our very own hipster version of Ikea :p
And, Nate, the wooden chair is a bit more expensive than the comfy one.

I like the looks of the wood chair, you could always add cushions to make it more comfy, it will also last longer, easier to clean, and cats won't be able to destroy it. But I would rather that they not have cut down another tree in the rain forest so go with the modern chair. The mesh fabric is also better in hot humid weather.
