| I'd go with the wooden one simply to match the other furniture you already have. It will look much nicer overall and as IGK noted, add a cushion for extra comfort. Sometimes I actually like sitting on a hard surface too, I think it would be more productive for working than a really comfy chair that would too relaxing. |

| it all depends on how long you sit for in a sitting, if you will. if you don't spend more than an hour at a time (which I doubt) then go for the wooden one. if you spend considerably more time sitting, daily, then go for the second one. |

Just came back from the furniture shop and, whoa, the wooden chair is really really really comfy! I can seat with my legs crossed and look like a legless war veteran, w00t! Here's a picture of me in utter chairful bliss:
This is like one of those relationship threads where everyone tells the original poster to do one thing and he winds up doing the exact opposite. May this thread continue as a spiteful reaction against human predictability :D |
