| Hm.. Trying to remember how it was like hearing Johan back in September at LimeLight. Oh yeah, that was the best trance set I heard that year ! People who talk about Johan, go hear him live ! He is absolutely incredible ! He didn't play one cheese track that night. It was all trance, mostly uplifting some hard. |

me... that's one of the most inspiring things i've ever read on this board. we should make this the TA slogan or something. give those "holier than thou" TAs something to think about.
anyways, i wouldn't miss gielen for the world. i'm definitely gonna book some time off work to see this one, =P. |

| yo i went on a special nite one time and some ppl had these advance VIP pass things they bought to get reduced cover.. anyone here know how to get them , where, and how much they are .. ? |

I missed Gielen's Party last year at Limelight. Although only a few ppl were there last year, I heard that the party itself was really good. I dont want to miss him this year.
I for one would much rather hear Gielen than '00'. Whenever I see gielen in the Trancenergy Videos, or from what I hear from the ppl that saw him live last year, he brings a lot of energy to the room, pumping his hands in the air, dancing, and everything. Thats one of the reasons I like AvB so much, i think that Gielen will be similar. Cant wait. |

| hwey Im really looking forward to this one....although I wont really be able to dance cause I had ankle surgery last week but none the less I will be there.......Im wondering if there is any way I can contact Johan himself to ask him to bring a couple of records that I really want played.......?????? anyone know if this is possible |

Wow this is not to be missed. From what I hear Viva is a very nice club though I personally haven't been there.
BTW I don't mine the "predominantly asian" thing at all. And to those non-asians that DO mind it, you should open up your horizons a bit. We're all people anyway. And I think dEsidEL summed it up quite nicely (I think it was dEsidEL, paraphrasing here): "at least it will keep the ginos out." LOL :haha: :haha:
Anyway my only gripe is that Viva is quite far from where I live (Etobicoke). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could get up there in an efficient, cheap manner? Or is there a way to get there via TTC (in which case scratch out "efficient")? Please tell me there's a bus that goes there. Also when does it start/stop running (so I can get back w/o paying helluva $$$ for a 30 minute taxi ride). |
