No. Ocean City is a hole. Go further down to Virginia Beach or even further down to Myrtle Beach. |
That's too bad, I've been hearing that from other ppl too.
I wanted something close to DC, hate doing a lot of driving on vacation. I'm a little surprised because the beach front hotels are prohibitively expensive even for just a couple of days. Holiday Inn for like $400/night eeek Peak season + next to beach = $$$ |

| Been there a few times. Great little Italy section by downtown with awesome restaurants. The Harbour is nice too, as someone mentioned. Other than that, if you stray more than a few blocks from the downtown area, beware.... lots of it makes Detroit look like Palm Springs. |

I think one of he reasons it is so expensive is that there is scarcely anywhere else to stay but on the beachfront - remember it's little more than a small strip of land.
With that said, I think my earlier suggestion of Virginia Beach is a good one. A lot bigger and more relaxing. Probably cleaner, too. And the drive wouldn't be too bad. |

I heard the Red Soxs are nice.
Ohhhh the other B city. Um. It sucks. Like Burlington, VT sucks, but in a nasty ghetto I'ma get shanked way.
Actually I never been there, I just assume the entire east coast is either decrepit or dangerous and not worth visiting. |
