I see where you're coming from, but I think you'd do well to give him a listen live, he might change your mind.

They're not sickly unicorn wank, which is a minor achievement in itself, but they fall into that slightly boshy high-tempo trance zone that hasn't appealed to me for years.

Could you translate that for a non-English English speaker?

I've heard big-room trance DJs bosh out big room trance records before. I know how this stuff sounds.

I think the people who have seen him live can attest to his not being just a "big room trance dj." Also...bosh?

You're into dance music, yet you don't know "bosh"?:wtf:

Actually, the Brits just seem to love to make up words that rhyme with 'osh' for some reason.

To be honest, that was the first time I've ever seen it used.

Well, sell his DJing to me. What can I expect? Compare him to other DJs.

Well, I can't attest to every show he's ever put on, but at least when I saw him it wasn't the formulaic kind of stuff you would expect from a "big room" act like Armin or someone of that sort. There wasn't too much of the hard pumping bass, light airy interludes, hard pumping bass kind of "flow" to it. He seemed to really have a feel for the crowd, and his set didn't feel so predetermined.

I've come to hate it when I'll be really getting into a set, dancing like crazy, and all of a sudden it just dies into some slow, airy nonsense that makes everyone just stand there swaying like idiots for a few minutes.

I guess to sum it all up, he really keeps your feet moving.

I was a big fan a few years back - hes got that uk trancey groove which im a fan of and plays solid tunes. Also a great guy which always helps.

I would like for him to play/produce a litle less cheesy/childlike and go a bit deeper/thoughtful(which im 100% he is totally capable of), it seems like he hasnt progressed in the last few years but i guess thats just personal preference.

Crash
Dont forget his older tunes. Like Gtr-Mistral.

But then again that might be the only old good tune he had. I like some of his new stuff though.
