any coffee you buy at any franchise coffee place in Canada is coffee...plan and simple.

I got my brother a coffee of the month club where he gets three different types of coffee from across the globe every month. All pure bean coffee and not this blended crap you get in stores.

So far two of the three best coffees I've ever had in my life came through this gift. I'm strongly considering putting in a standing order for that Ethiopian stuff.

No, no, no.... on average the stuff you buy in stores has been sitting on a dock roasted and ground for 2-3 months before it gets to your store. The key to great coffee is to have it as soon after roasting as possible and to grind it immediately before brewing. Your best bet is to find a supplier locally that roasts their own beans (make sure they're air cooled not water cooled) and get yourself a grinder (burr is better but $$$). In Toronto I recommend Gold Star Coffee (despite the fact that they don't carry my favorite variety... Ethiopian Yirgacheffe).

I'm sure he won't care as long as people are talking about going to his shop and buying his product. :P

Reminds of an interview of David Guetta where the interviewer was asking Guetta if it's pronouced 'Getta' or 'Gwetta'? He said he doesn't care as long as people are saying his name lol
