Spoken like someone who knows sweet fuck all about coffee.
BTW, if it's good coffee you don't need to offset the bitterness. |

Tim's > Starbucks
we brew both at work as well, a little bit of cream to balance out the bitterness - good to go |
I'm no coffee expert but I am pretty sure some people take their coffee just as seriously as some people take their wine.
I will never drink a cup of coffee. I really see no benefit and it tastes gross. (Although I love the smell). |

| Coffee is alright but I feel sketchy after downing one. I prefer green tea to be honest :) |

+1 on green tea (esp. jasmine green tea)
I've also started liking white tea a lot |

Well just as Tara said, some people take wine just as seriously as coffee. You clearly don't know a lot about coffee, thus the reason why you wouldn't understand why some people take it so seriously. To a lot of people, it's not just a warm drink to perk them up in the morning. |

I don't need to be explained why some people take it seriously and thanks for letting me know what I do know and what I don't know :) I just pointed out that I found it amusing discussing coffee in the way expensive bourbon or liquor is usually part of a conversaion, quoting Ryan's remark
back to the lids! |

The key to Tim Horton's lids is not folding them back, but punching them down inside. Especially for driving. Prevents spills. |
thats in brilliant! |

Some people are willing to spend more time, money and energy finding top of the line food and beverage items, or any sort of product because they enjoy that particular product or it brings them more satisfaction than the average person. There is nothing wrong with that.
If a coffee is a coffee to you, great. Enjoy your Timmies. However, don't try to make it sound like Tim Horton's coffee is just as good as any coffee out there, because it most certainly isn't. That's like saying McDonald's hamburger meat is of the same quality as USDA prime cut steak. |
