my friend is entering a chili cookoff and i want to come up with a marketing/ decoration plan so we can get more votes. the chili is good, if you are thinking this is to offset it.
the festival is a a ski resort labor day weekend (kirkwood), and a large part of the chili preparation will take place at a campground near the resort, so we are thinking to call it "Pete's Campfire Chili". With this in mind, I want to decorate our chili booth with a camping related theme, but I am at a loss as to how to do this. (i am an engineer and marketing and creativity is not what I am good at.) so far, the best idea i can come up with is to get a giant stuffed bear and put it in a camping chair with a bowl of chili.
So I have to ask the c0r:
1. what else can i do to decorate for a camping theme?
2. does anyone have a stuffed bear they want to give me? |

| Cut the top of the head from the bear, and serve the chili out of the bear's head, kind of like Ray Liotta in Hannibal. |
