Anyone hear any rumors about WMC / Ultra 2011? Looking at hotels and plane tickets..

Looks like the dates should be March 22-27th 2011.
Already looking at places to stay and plane tickets, probably going to do Wed. the 23rd - Monday the 28th again.
Probably going to stay at the same hotel as last year.
Most places in SoBe I have seen are over $250 a night and some are like $300 plus...
Currently plane tickets are $300.
Been thinking about this for awhile and thought I would post up to see what people are thinking about already or hearing about it. |

| the official dates usually get announced in oct i believe. get your finances in order now and then the week the dates get announced book everything. thats always the most cost effective way to get it all done. this way you know the wmc dates before the hotels do and they dont jack up their prices quite yet. |

Well last year I started looking in October and barely found a good place to stay on a budget but close to South Beach. Next thing I knew I was back home already and everything happened the way I didnt really want to happen.
This upcoming one I am planning even earlier and not stressing over stuff this time and really going to wing it with the parties and other things. But I would like to get my foundations taken care of, meaning plane and hotel. |

good thinking. i would recommend waiting until the official dates are announced though. |

yeah no doubt especially i found a great deal on Travelocity, but never using a place like that before I am not sure if I had to change the dates a bit that I could.
Either way I am going for a redo this time around and hopefully will have a total blast this time around. Also this time I really want to hang out with even more people this time. |

| I have been hearing rumors the Ultra may not take place in Bicenttenial Park though. I read an article about it, let me try to dig it up again. Can't really see any other place that could handle the massiveness of that event |

| The dates come out the last week of Sept/ first week of Ocotber. Planning on buying two tickets to UMF and then just flipping them if I dont get my comped like usual. Getting the hotel booked that same week before they jack them prices out the yinyang. Just sucks as not sure if I will be able to go as my job may be changing at the end of February. I have found that the cheapest flights in my area occur on the first week of January from past years. |
