Counter to some other threads *cough cough*
Canada ... yes ... its a wonderful country, one of best places to live in the world, a place we call home. But what exactly do you think that makes it such a wonderful and loved place on Earth?
Also, what is the most beautiful PLACE to visit in Canada (nature-wise), in your opinion? Thirdly, what is the best CITY to live/visit? :)
Post like someone from outside of Canada will be reading this.

I definitely agree with this.
There are so many great places to see in this country though. I am sure a lot of people would say Vancouver is a great city to live in as well. |

i loved toronto. Im used to the pretentious bull or (wall as Jayx1 puts it) b/c im from chicago so i can put up with it. but aside from the latent disregard/hatred for the word and anything "American", canada is A-OK with me. once i graduate, i plan to move back(if the price{salary] is right)

As for the best city in Canada, I have to agree with the majority and select Montreal:

As for the most beautiful, i'd have to go with British Columbia, which I havent visited yet, but judging by the pictures :gsmile: :eyes: probably Vancouver Island or the river-by-the-lake somewhere in a middle of a thick BC forest somewhere
What makes Canada so special? I think its the fact that we have very pristine environment (compared to many other countries) and the fact that Canadians are respected and ranked highly around the world ... because of our national standing. We try to be respectful, and avoiding sticking our noses into other countries' business. We have all we need except perhaps tropical beaches and better climate
