Redd's choice is a good 'un, atmospheric chants seem to be the best kind of vocals for trance. Shouldn't have to point out stuff like The Baguio Track, TFM&AT or Chilling Moments as great examples of this.
I wanted to post some real outright glowstick madness here to prove that epic trance can have vocals in and not be outright cheddar, but sadly most of my favourites aren't on Youtube. I might have another crack at making that ludicrous laser trance mix I had planned now.

actually, I find it more trancier than 'trance' these days which is why I've slipped into it so effortlessly. It's got better melodies, ideas and vibes than 95% of all trance I've heard in the last 3-4 years at least. There's still producers in trance who have 'it' but most don't do anything remotely 'trancey'
