I never post DC reviews on here cause , I just put them on clubglow.com (shameless plug but what else is new).

But I have to say... Sean's set made me feel like I was having a flashback to the days when I did extra-curriculars. I was high off trance. big time. He lifted us up, ran us into the ground, and spun something furious. classics, the new hotness and everything in between. His suburban train remix, his remix of pacha on acid, going wrong, airwave, mad that I couldn't ID but Burak probably would have creamed himself over (and no, there was no ass slapping, lol) He played some 2001 track called destroy she said I think was the name? I youtubed and clearly he played some hard ass remix of it. That was tight.

And then he and Des did a tag team for a bit and Des finished it off. Man oh man. I haven't had a good time like that at a trance show in a while. Fast, driving, yet uplifting. I kept rubbing my bald ass head like i was in the zone.

high off music.

shout outs to ryan, good seeing you brah. amy beth, glad we finally got to meet, nice tat! US trance movement was in the building. glowsticking.com heads were out and about. everything was righteous. And of course, my man des got loose. @wayde - he made it rain SON!!!

i'm so amped about tonight I'm writing a review at 5am. that pretty much says it all. :)

This was my first time seeing Sean. I'm still speechless. This is how trance needs to be played. No cheese...not much fluff/vocals..they way it should be. His set was much harder/impressive than Cosmic Gate's a few weeks ago. He played from 12:30-3:30 and then him and Des McMahon tagged teamed for the last 30 min. Sean said he's been wanting to play in DC..specifically for Glow for so long. Well he got his chance and he tore FUR a new .

Hands down the best show I have seen in 2010 outside the WMC!!!

Sean was really on his game Saturday. Truly an amazing show!!!!
Seriously - a spectacular night with a great tracklist, sound was amazing, good lights/laser, temp cool and good people in DC0-the locals and the NYC ppl who made the trip.

IMO Seans’ Pacha on Acid was the best track of the night, really sounded great at Fur.

And that 20 minute impromptu tag-team at 3:00 with opener Des MacMahon belongs in the Trance Hall of Fame. Mindblowing!
Wow!!! Who has got that tracklist???

ravi--

that was the Sean Tyas rework of Circ-Destroy She Said. it happens to be one of mine and Ryan's all-time favorite trance tracks.... i'll give you one guess who asked him to rework it ;)

it was great seeing so many of you out! had an unbelievable time, that goes without saying. too many amazing tracks to even start naming... i'm still high off the energy. its the first time in a pretty long time that i felt the old insomnia vibe at glow again. It just reinforces what i've been saying... the vibe, the people, and the music--- having all three elements be there has been lacking lately for me... but the night couldn't have been more perfect. felt like the old days.

sean and ryan- as always -it was nothing short of an adventure!
ravi - great meeting you too! ing weird that it took us this long
all the glowheads... you know who you are... cant even tell u how ecstatic i was to see so many of you again on the dancefloor..

i really need sleep.

Hey Ravi did Des's set get recorded? He said "Pete" would know?

The Vza
nah it didn't. next time though. here are some vids though

it's hard to find good sounding vids when i get home... but these are relatively decent i think

Glad seans still ripping it everywhere he plays. He got my vote for djmag. Top productions and i have yet to see him dissapoint at a club. His live sets are full of energy. where most djs try focusing on some flow bull of starting slow and only having a few trancey tracks if you will, sean actually knows what we want and brings it. if we go see a trance dj, play that style and not some bs buildup. Keep it up man!
