yes! Learning the skull is the absolute hardest. depending on the view there are so many bones and they could look different from other angles so I did this:

Printed it and colored it with like a 24 pack of color pencils lol
Vlad
Yes, colored pencils are a MUST!
Vlad
I got you beat though...

I draw all mine by hand. :p
MeLLyMeL
dude - i cant draw for . I download pics and enlarge them lol :p

but yes. Coloring helps!!! Also when I have my bone practical (25 stations.. 1 minute at each station answering 2 guestions). I basically used my boyfriend as Mr. Bones.

I also told him to tell me a body part and gave him a checklist. I had to name all the bones in the arms, all in the legs, hands, feet, back etc..

The bones are only a pain in the foot, hand and skull... everything else is pretty straight forward.

The foot though, is by far, the most aggravating part of the body... theres so much of everything there.

My favorite part of the body to learn was the shoulder, its what inspired me, at the time, to want to become an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the rotator cuff.

Anatomy is the best. I taught it during grad school for a while.

I dunno - when you have a 1-2 bones at a station and u have to 'name this process' it gets a lil hard.

I wanted to know them ALL by memory but yes - skull hands and feet are complex.

Name the process? Or is it like name the landmarks? ie like the greater trochanter... cause femur, tibia and fibula are pretty easy, lol.

Ulnar.

But we couldn't touch the bones to examine it. There was one bone - say Ulnar.. then it was in a certain angle.. and I had to know where the sticker was - lets say, Olecranon process.
