I think itd be worthwhile trying to run a once a month, or perhaps bi-monthly prog only event somewhere in Toronto. Somewhere small to cater the niche market... Sorta like the old mixed bag breaks events at College St Bar... maybe im just a dreamer..
Started listening to some 'Oslo Nights' (anyone remember those?) sets I had on my comp from ages ago. These sets more or less got me through university. Here's a bomb track from one of those sets in 2005.

would love to do something like this, but promotion and holding events will probably never be my thing. I need a manager :p we will see how those progressive monkey events develop, i hear they're getting good bookings in the future.
