iPhone 4 is 5 megapixel with flash. It's one of the few great camera phones (but Nokia still has everyone beat on that) |

Sharing photos/stupid videos, games, television/movies. How cool would it be to just project that on a wall rather than huddle around a 4" screen? |

Really? I still don't see any usability in that whatsoever. I imagine the quality would be terrible and it would drain battery very quickly. I mean, even if over the years the quality/battery life improves, I still don't see people turning off the lights and finding an empty wall to project their images and videos to. Why not just message or e-mail that person the picture or video?
I still think it's a very tacky idea that Apple would never implement. I can see other companies trying it out though |

The more pixels you cram into a sensor the more noise is produced, especially at low light.
Tell me this; have you ever had a real need to take pictures beyond 6mp? By that I mean, being able to take your JPEG and print it at 8x10 size @ close to 300dpi? Whens the last time you printed a 4x6, which is essentially equal to about 3mp?
Why are so many of you guys so hung up on megapixel count when in reality its the very reason for having photos... like this;
I'll take even a 2 megapixel camera if it means having images like the one produced on the RIGHT of that photo. |
