just wondering, what everyone sees/labels trance as at the moment? like, what would be some of your favorite choons at the moment(new stuff) you can easily say, this is trance.
these are my favorite songs of the year thus far. i just love these kinds of melodic trance. shogun - save me will most likely be my favorite vocal of the year.

I label trance as more of a blanket term than a genre at this point, only because there are so many offshoots of it (uplifting, vocal, progressive, tech, psy, etc.)
Saying "I like trance" could mean any of those subgenres, and they all sound pretty different.
As for songs though, here are a couple...

2010 has been a great year for trance imo
later on in the year after armin displays his top 20 songs of the year (cough cough i mean top 15 armada tracks and 5 anjunabeats tracks of the year cough cough) i will post up my favs of the year
but these past few weeks these songs have been kicking ass!!!
