My brother went to college in Alabama. Are there lots of white trash and ignorant negros? Of course. I'm pretty sure you'd be hard pressed to find a state where you couldn't find one of those. |

Again, you make it seem like they are the minority down there.
This is not the case. These people in the gulf states have no ability to elect people that will responsibly govern for them. Democrat or Republican, they are totally irresponsible. There is corruption flowing from the rafters and they serve corporatist masters. They will be the first states to fall in line with the fascist doctrine sweeping the radical right in this country. |

is a ridiculous sweeping generalization for an entire portion of our country. Are you entirely wrong? No. , when I went to Panama City in 07 for Spring Break, I realized how much I hated most of the people from Alabama just because they're total douchebag rednecks. However, saying "the place is worthless" is complete horse, there are plenty of things to appreciate about the south. |

When you said it'd be hard not to find one in other states. I was making the distinction that its far far from one in those states.
