From what I've heard, this really isn't another BP situation. The well's only a few hundred feet down. It's a lot more "tameable" and shouldn't be grouped with BP's deal which was over 1 mile down and couldn't be easily dealt with due to the pressure involved.
Obviously, details are still coming out, but while this isn't good, it sounds like it's not going to go on for months like the last one. |

Other than offshore drilling, can anybody detail a specific national policy prescription made by Sarah Palin? I don't mean "lower taxes" or "stop immigration" - I mean the how. This woman built her national career on a policy that led to one immense environmental - and economic - regional disaster, and may now have led to a second.
