It looks like a picture taken out of your window.

Mongolia is called "the land under the eternal blue sky", so thats under the eternal blue sky. |

I tried making a similar desktop, but my calendar "opens". Is there a way to modify it, and other sidebar gadgets? Now when I move them onto the desktop, they get a lot bigger.. Using Vista Home Premium. |

not sure exactly what you mean, but i do know that vista's gadgets are totally different than 7's gadgets. i don't think you'll be able to achieve the full effects with vista. one of 7's big updates was the sidebar gadgets orientation on the desktop- they're completely moveable anywhere within its invisible grid on the desktop instead of locked to the sidebar like how it is in vista. |

They are movable in Vista too, but when I take them out of the sidebar, they look like this:

The slideshow gadget is a lot bigger, and the calendar shows both the date and the whole month, while I want either one. |

the link is corrupted, man- i can't see what you mean.
though i'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do about it. can you access the widget's options and maybe change the settings that way? |
