I once did a beer can chicken Greek style- It's the only way you're able to fit the can up there! But I digress.

I covered the outside in olive oil, crushed fennel seed, coarsely-chopped garlic, rosemary, a bit of ground pepper, and finely-chopped spring onions - what was left went in with the beer.

I poured a shot of Ouzo in with the beer just for drunken posterity, but it did not make the slightest difference, obviously because my temperatures were nowhere near high enough for it to do so.

I basically winged it (te-heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee), but it turned out quite well.
