“You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.”

SOme of my fav John Wooden Quotes:

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability.

If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.

You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.
Chris Crossland
If somethings worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Really enjoyed this one.

"The next real literary ‘rebels’...might well emerge as some weird bunch of ‘anti-rebels,’ born oglers who dare to step back from ironic watching, who have the childish gall to actually endorse single-entendre values. Who treat old untrendy human troubles and emotions...with reverence and conviction. Who eschew self-consciousness and fatigue. These anti-rebels would be outdated, of course, before they even started. Too sincere. Clearly repressed. Backward, quaint, naive, anachronistic. Maybe that’ll be the point, why they’ll be the next real rebels. Real rebels, as far as I can see, risk things." - David Foster Wallace

"What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it."- Andy Warhol

i love this quote.it defines consumerism at its finest.or lowest depending on how you look at it

Probably not as true as it used to be, though. Even the most ordinary of perishable goods have separated into downmarket and upmarket, with the latter bearing descriptors like "organic" and "free range."

When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Right and wrong are just words. What matters is what you do.

If something's hard to do, then it's not worth doing.
