I'm not from Moscow nor have I ever been to Russia :) I'm talking about Ukraine - we still have the old school trolleybuses (which are not free anymore) lagging around, as well as streetcars (with plastic seats)
the only thing different now is that they got rid of all big buses and put small bus-vans that go to every single spot around the city almost |

are you talking about the tourist street cars? they are just there for touristic value. No residents actually take them. ALso they never stop. You jump on when they are on a red light.
The street cars that actually function as transit are on right of ways that were put in when the city was built. Which is why they left them and got rid of the rest. |
