Em... No. I should by all rights like you, you have a reasonable amount of talent, but your attitude's sadly ed.
Also, on your logic, it appears that everyone who doesn't like the joke simply dislikes the joke because they dislike you. Given that everyone in the thread dislikes the joke, does that mean that everyone dislikes you or...?
How about you just stick to discussing production, and that way more people might like you. |

Yeah, I definitely agree. But, I think DJ RANN nailed it when he said that there are those who will buy it just for the sake of having it, regardless of whether or not there are more practical/less expensive options. Buid it, and they will come, so to speak.

As far as M4B goes, I think you guys just need to understand that he uses shock value as a humorous way of driving a point home. He's not the first one to do it and maybe it's not as effective in written word as it is in spoken word, but I think that once you get past that, the flame wars will die down a bit. And, I'm not defending him or implying that eveybody is just too sensitive, just clarifying it from the POV of someone who sees him write things so outrageous that they are obviously in jest, and watching everybody fly off the handle. My 2 cents - take it or leave it. |

i'm not going to censor myself for your convenience. Learn to ignore people that bother you. You totally made a mountain out of a molehill. And replace reasonable with incredible and I might agree with you. And that isn't a statement of ego, but rather an acknowledgement that i've spent the last 26 years doing music on average 6 hours a day. I played concerto's with the mso with I was 9 and was labelled a child prodigy. I've studied so many aspects of music that I what i've discussed here doesn't even scratch the surface. I apologize if I come across as a dick. Communication isn't my forte. However I think the fact that I'm running a contest with money from my own pocket with absolutely no reward for me shows what sort of person I am. Actions speak louder than words. So if you don't like my posts , tune out as I won't be changing my written stylistic prose any time soon but please don't insinuate that underneath my lack of tack is someone that isn't a nice person. |

No, everyone really is just too sensitive.
Not to derail the thread but seriously, it's amazing. Nobody can take an insult, or a joke or anything. Even when they're coming from someone who otherwise contributes more than the people who are whining about them.
I've been going to other forums for years and it's honestly just weird how sensitive some of you guys are. I've never seen anything like it before. If you guys want to be strictly professional or whatever then go ahead and try, but this is the internet and good old-fashioned trolling isn't that big of an issue. It makes things fun. If it's not your cup of tea, ignore it, but bitching about it is a MUCH bigger distraction than anything MFB does. |

Youre right, 5K$ is a lot of money, but some just can afford it, you have people buying 5K TV's 25K of home cinema, etc....

| Once my parents croak , I will inherit a few million and I will buy everything and post pictures just to piss you off. I will probably start a label with no budget in mind giving EDM producers ridiculous amounts of money to make music. I'm not very frugal and have absolutely no concept of saving. Not saying i'm spoiled, I had oldschool european parents. I earned that money! |
