I seen pretty good Jupiter 6 being sold for only 800 euro's and it's polyphonic. Price has gone up though of those things.

For $5000, I'd rather get a real vintage analog synth instead of modern analog synths like a Prophet 08. Probaby you can buy yourself a modular analog kit for that kind of money.

Wow, you sound like Tony Wilson about to start factory records.

Remember, no contracts just a swift handshake and a big bag of special K.

As far as M4B goes, I think you guys just need to understand that he uses shock value as a humorous way of driving a point home. He's not the first one to do it and maybe it's not as effective in written word as it is in spoken word, but I think that once you get past that, the flame wars will die down a bit. And, I'm not defending him or implying that eveybody is just too sensitive, just clarifying it from the POV of someone who sees him write things so outrageous that they are obviously in jest, and watching everybody fly off the handle. My 2 cents - take it or leave it.

Yeah fair enough. I get shock value and I get humour and I like both. But I don't find gang rape on its own amusing sorry. Maybe if it had been armin van buuren and paul van dyk gang raping tiesto I'd laugh. But it wasn't remotely funny.

i'm not going to censor myself for your convenience. Learn to ignore people that bother you. You totally made a mountain out of a molehill.

No I didn't, I just said I found your post offensive.

And replace reasonable with incredible and I might agree with you. And that isn't a statement of ego, but rather an acknowledgement that i've spent the last 26 years doing music on average 6 hours a day. I played concerto's with the mso with I was 9 and was labelled a child prodigy. I've studied so many aspects of music that I what i've discussed here doesn't even scratch the surface. I apologize if I come across as a dick. Communication isn't my forte. However I think the fact that I'm running a contest with money from my own pocket with absolutely no reward for me shows what sort of person I am. Actions speak louder than words. So if you don't like my posts , tune out as I won't be changing my written stylistic prose any time soon but please don't insinuate that underneath my lack of tack is someone that isn't a nice person.

I don't care how talented you are, you often speak complete .

I don't care how nice you are at heart, I stand by my statement that your "joke" was offensive and I think you should go speak to some actual rape victims (chances are you probably know several) and see how amusing it is then.

the subject matter is rape and it is ing funny. Stop being so uptight, Of course it is a terrible thing and would never condone it but you need to understand the concept of comedy and why certain taboo things can be funny.

djRann , lol probably. Might sound weird but money stresses me out. As long as I have enough for the basics , I'm happy. All those decisions on what to buy really stresses me out. In fact I just gave my girlfriend 6000 to pay her credit card as the money was sitting in my bank and I felt like I had to spend it but didn't know what as I honestly don't need anything. I suppose despite having rather wealthy parents, I was raised having to work for everything and was content with not having alot of things I got and I never got anything as they are incredibly cheap. But once my beloved parents go to greener pastures, I'l book a G5 and fly all the Ta's even kit to Palm's house and crash his party.

No need.

MFB could just buy you a couple of Mexicans to do it for you.

Pre-order it now, Moog is saying that only 100 or so will be made.

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VoyagerXL/

I already pre-ordered 8 of them to create my own monster Moog, so there's only 92 more available. :p

LoWahn
Hoping to hell they'll have one of these guys usable at Moogfest :eyes:
orTofønChiLd
i dont need that, i could use half of that money on a new pc and softsynths. Analogue can't compare to digital
