It's not the promoters fault, the problem is the people attending. I swear they are all 12 year olds lol I really doubt people know who Lange is if they don't follow the music. They only know freaking deadmau5 and tiesto (not saying that's a bad thing but they are closed minded)

I definitely agree with Wendy. The new generation don't know what the hell Trance is, but I'm hoping with these bookings Element Ent can school them and expand their minds :)

No doubt alot of people in Miami are clueless & just jump on whatever bandwagon is the fullest or coolest at the moment (take Aoki & Laidback Luke for example)

However the main aspect of a "promoters" job is to PROMOTE events. That means promoters have to capitalize off of the great nights of music that have already occurred. This should be done by making sure that each & every person that has walked into K&A, Moor, Durand & SVD knows about all the other trance DJs that are coming soon, who they are, what their bios & resumes are, and that they also will provide great fun trance sets.

So many people came out to SVD because they knew who he was since someone said he was good, i.e. the bandwagon effect. Now Noc's promoters have to take advantage of it & make sure that past customers and new customers know who these upcoming acts like Stoneface & Terminal, Thrillseekers and Lange are. Yet I do not see them posting any detailed bios on the artists or any recent sets. Instead you have people on TA posting sets and hyping up the past events. I am sure the promoters are doing something to get people there, and whoever is responsible for the bookings is on point. Yet there always is more that can & should be done to get heads in a club. There is no reason that any night should be less than half full while SVD is slammed, because Durand, K&A and Moor all rocked that terrace in their own right, just like the upcoming acts should ...

I agree. I hope the promoters promote these artists as we have been wanting them to come for a long time.

I just wish that this current generation actually enjoy and appreciate the artists coming instead of just looking at it as a place to get ed up on Friday nights lol but hey, whatever makes ticket sales, right? Lol

I must be getting old but that whole standing in the middle of the dance floor getting trampled is beyond me. But more power to whoever likes that. The problem I find with Eden is first and most importantly the girls bathroom. My girl says you have to tip to get paper? or that they are nasty as hell. Not to mention having to cross the place from one end to another. Honestly I would prefer to be in the glass room with A/C chilling with great sound enjoying the actual "music". And my other small rant is the start time. Waiting till 3am for the headliner to play is a little much. And finally no Heineken?? WTF! and hot corona's. Anyways I will continue to support but seriously some of these issues need to be resolved for people to continue supporting.

/end rant.

I honestly think that bathroom attendant is taking advantage of the girls, lol...I'm just wondering if any of the girls have brought this issue to club owners attention cuz I guarantee he doesn't know about this, lol, and if he does that pretty messed up...

As far as promoters go they do post youtube vids and resume online on Facebook...So I really don't think its that, like av1 mentioned before its the bandwagon effect that plagues Miami....The new generation needs to wake the F*#k UP!!!!!! :happy2:

completely agree with most points made here.

1) the bathroom issue i brought up a while back, i think for either andy moor or k&a. my girl had to spend a total of $5 at svd for toilet paper. we're stupid though cuz we knew to bring and didnt. regardless, like i said previously, toilet paper is just one of those essential things that should be included in the ticket price.

2) they had heineken. well heineken light. which is fine by me. but yea maybe they should expand their selection a little bit too. anyone ever noticed how empty the bar by the bathroom is in terms of bottles and ?

3) regarding the promoting. other than what we post here and what gets made on facebook i have not seen any promoting for these events. has anyone even seen a single flyer? and no i dont mean the images you get tagged with on fb. i mean an actual flyer i can hold in my hand. really the promoting is what needs to be stepped up. after the massive turnout at svd there is no reason any show should ever be as empty as durand was for example. but it probably will be. why? because no one is promoting the upcoming events. look lange is 2 weeks away and theres no flyer other than the general upcoming schedule one. these events need to be promoted for much further in the future. as soon as the event gets announced a flyer should be ready to go. as the weeks get closer to the events i should be walking around south beach and i should run into a few flyers. and at svd there should of been a massive amount of flyers around for all the upcoming shows.

4) i honestly dont mind the kids there. if it wasnt for them these shows would be completely empty. they generally create a decent vibe cuz they get so into it. and honestly because they are so new into all this they havent hit that point yet where the drugs start to turn weird. they are just there having a good time. and as long as you dont act like an idiot then be as ed up as you wanna be.

lets see how lange turns out...

As far as promoting, I do not for the life understand why the beach is not swamped with flyers. Their cheap and a great way to get the word out. www.clubflyers.com send them the design have them print it and dump them everywhere. Hell go to FIU, MDCC. Of course the late start time and other issues aside you should be able to easily get 100-200 people in by 2am. Can anyone give a good guesstimate what the attendance was for SVD? And element guys if you want street promoting i'm willing to do it. Lmk

They are distributed throughout Downtown and South Beach, I have teams that handle that department. You also have to keep in mind that there is an ordinance that if authority is to find a handful of postcards laying all around South Beach the venue and event coordinator gets fined 500 bucks per postcard. That would really shut down this whole operation, so we try and make sure we have no postcards lying around. I hope this might shed some light on this small issue.

Bathroom issue...for k&a I went with my friend to the bathroom and she didn't pay for toilet paper so for those of you that are....you're letting them rip you off. $5? No way.

Second - Who said there wasn't henny? There definitely was.

Third - I agree with having event flyers...

Fourth - Still pretty freaking happy with the acts that have been coming through :)
