I have to say, good for that person that contacted you on fb. It takes alot of balls to try to learn about something new and write complete strangers for more info/opinions. I feel that we have to reach out the the younger ones. I know I was just like them at one time. It took someone with the knowledge to introduce me, and say hey, you have to come with me to this club, or, listen to this cd. I wish that facebook and myspace existed back when I started listening to electronic music.

but i dont think a radio station would help much. even though party 93.1 gave us a ton of awesome broadcasts and the birth of gdjb, for the most part it was total . especially with the growing popularity of satellite radio (that can actually afford to air tons of fresh content), i think a local radio station would totally bomb here.
