i had soju for the first time recently - at this korean owned sushi joint. i brought a bottle in from the liquor store next door and the waiter was like >.< 'you drinka sojuu????'

'no. i can no drink soju. maybe later. mr. lee (it's called lee's sushi) will have soju when he comes !'

it was ing awesome. i drank the soju + a 40 of asahi. i only drank half the bottle of soju tho. left the rest for mr. lee + the sushi chefs. |

When I lived in Korea one of my bosses drank 8 bottles a day on average. It's rough stuff if you get the cheap stuff they sell at 7-11 (which I usally did.) But, they have something called 100 year soju which is actually decent. Even the worst Saki is better than the best Soju IMO. |
